Eala beats defending champion Swiatek to reach Wimbledon last 16
Alexandra Eala of the Philippines defeated Iga Swiatek 7-6, 6-2 on Centre Court on Saturday, eliminating the defending Wimbledon champion in the third round. The 21-year-old becomes the first Filipino player to reach the second week of a Grand Slam tournament.
