About News Unlimited

News Unlimited is a reader-first European digital news network built on a simple idea: good journalism shouldn’t be locked behind a paywall, buried under advertising, or dressed up as something more dramatic than it is.

We publish across six sections — Business, Culture, Science, Sports, Technology, and World — with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and proportion. No clickbait headlines. No sponsored stories disguised as journalism. No pop-ups asking you to subscribe before you’ve read a word.

Who we are

News Unlimited is published by Fairly Digital, a Copenhagen company that builds news, tools and comparison sites. Its editor is Lasse Pedersen, who is responsible for everything we publish. The network includes the flagship site at news-unlimited.com and a growing family of vertical brands covering individual topics in greater depth.

How we work

Our articles come from six section desks: World, Business, Technology, Science, Sports and Culture. They are researched and drafted with AI assistance, and every one is reviewed by our editor before it is published. That is why they carry a desk byline rather than a reporter’s name, and why each one ends with a note saying how it was made. Our editorial charter sets out how we use AI, how we check sources and how we correct mistakes.

What we believe

We think most news is covered reasonably well. What’s often missing is the context that helps you understand why it matters — and the calm to present it without manufactured urgency. That’s what we’re trying to build.
